Location Information and other Information
This policy should be read in conjunction with Washare Limited’s User Terms and other policies (all readily available on Washare’s website) for a fuller understanding of Washare’s policies.
Depending on the services that you use which may be provided by Washare from time to time, and your app settings or device permissions, we may collect your precise or approximate location information as determined through data such as GPS, IP address and WiFi.
Washare may collect location information when the app or website is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on screen) of your device to assist in the provision of our services if you have provided permission for the processing of location data.
You may use the Washare app without enabling Washare to collect location information. However, this may affect the functionality available on the app or website or other services rendered. For example, if you do not enable Washare to collect your location information, you will have to manually enter your desired ‘start address’ or catchment area to access the location of our services. You will then need to navigate to the destination address without any digital or online assistance provided directly through the app or website via Google Maps or other facilitating third party GPS navigation or other digital navigation system.
Below are other types of information which we may collect under one of the six permitted reasons embodied in the law.
We may collect transaction details related to your use of our services, including but not limited to the type of services you requested or provided, your order details, delivery information, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, and payment method. Additionally, if someone uses your promotion code or other promotion offer, we may associate your name with that person.
We may collect information about the devices you use to access our services, including the hardware models, device IP address, operating systems and versions, software, file names and versions, preferred languages, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, serial numbers, device motion information, and mobile network information. This is not considered to be ‘personal data’ but Aggregated Data as you will not be identified through the collection of this information.
We may enable users to communicate with the Service Provider(s) or Washer(s) as defined in our User Terms through the app or website or other platforms. To provide this service, Washare receives some information regarding the communication between you and the Service Provider(s) or Washer(s), including the date and time of the communication or any interactive actions, and the content of the communications where possible (for example, if it is in text form). Washare may also use this information for customer support services (including to resolve disputes between users), for safety and security purposes, to improve our products and services and for analytical purposes.
